Liverpool, one of the Premier League teams, recruited Fulham’s 2003-born Harvey Elliott, in the summer of 2019.

However, the Fulham front sued Liverpool, who linked the player to his colors at the age of 16. While the black-and-white club announced that the case was won, it stated that it would receive a record payment, but the amount was not announced.

According to reports in the British press, Liverpool will pay £ 1.2 million to Fulham in compensation. However, this fee may increase up to 4 million pounds according to some conditions. Fulham will also get a 20% share from the next sale of the player. This fee stands out as the highest ever paid to a 16-year-old player.

17-year-old Harvey Elliott plays for Championship team Blackburn Rovers on loan this season. Elliott has played 22 games in the Championship this season, with 4 goals and 8 assists so far.
