Sebastian Coltescu, the Romanian 4th referee of the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Medipol Başakşehir in the past months, made racist statements to Pierre Webo, who was an assistant coach in Başakşehir, and this situation had a great impact all over the world.

After this ugly incident, our representative Medipol Başakşehir withdrew from the field, and the referee received great reactions from the PSG front.

While the decision to be given to Coltecu is eagerly awaited, according to the Romanian press; UEFA decided that Coltescu used the word ‘negru’ to mean ‘black’ and that this word did not contain racism. For this reason, it was announced that Sebastian Coltescu would not be penalized.

It was also noted that UEFA did not give a penalty to Okan Buruk, who was the coach of Başakşehir at that time.
