Lyon president Aulas rejected 600m euro offer for club

Olympic LyonOwner and president of the club, Jean-Michel Aulas, announced that he rejected the offers for the sale of the club exceeding 500 million euros.

The 71-year-old president, Aulas, stated that he had numerous successes in the club he bought for 2 million euros in 1987 and said he never wanted to sell the club he devoted his life to. Aulas said, “There have been many people and institutions wanting to buy the club, including recently. I have to say that their offer approached 600 million euros. I will never consider this sale unless I have reached all of my goals,” said Aulas.
