The fire occurred in the dressing rooms of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Stadium around 09:00 in the morning. Allegedly, smoke suddenly rose in the locker rooms due to a problem with the electrical equipment.

The flames were extinguished before the officials noticed it in a short time and reported it to the police and firefighters. While the fire caused a brief panic, the police launched an investigation into the incident.
