Beşiktaş President Ahmet Nur Çebi sending the championship to Fenerbahçe

Beşiktaş Club President Ahmet Nur Çebi said that they showed what they could do by beating their two rivals on the way to the championship and that the turn was getting stability. Addressing the black and white fans in the December issue of the club magazine, Ahmet Nur Çebi said, “Expensive players are good players, those with low wages are bad, we have a staff that will destroy their perception”.

Stating that they are trying to bring the team to the places they deserve with the right planning and strategies, President Cebi’s speech is as follows:

“Dear Beşiktaş guys

One year has passed since we took office. Unfortunately, we have spent most of this year under the influence of a pandemic. Therefore, we, as a club, were very affected by this situation as all over the world and we were deprived of a large part of our revenues. Unfortunately, many of our athletes in our teams were caught in this virus and remained away from their staff. Especially in our football team, this number has increased considerably recently. In order to overcome this process with the least damage, each of us must be sensitive to himself and his environment.

When we took office, there was no positive picture ahead of us. However, we made every effort to bring our team to the places it deserves with the right planning and strategies. Like life, we will experience ups and downs. Of course there will be problems, but at the end of the day, our cause is to chase the championship. This is the only goal of both my teacher and our footballers. We do not miss the target.

Not only our club but also our distinguished clubs with which we compete will not be able to overcome the danger of extinction unless they end their wasteful attitude in the last 20 years. We are in pursuit of achieving a permanent success with young players coming from the true essence of Beşiktaş. We have a staff that will destroy the perception that “Expensive actors are good actors, low wages are bad” that settled in the minds of many people. We have shown what we can do by defeating our two important rivals on the way to the championship in the weeks we played consecutively, now the turn is stable.

I know that one of the most important expectations in our mosque is the special investigation results regarding the activities of our club between 2009-2019. The relevant company is making every effort to complete the investigation. However, due to the size and weight of the business and the pandemic, they have not yet been able to deliver the report to us. As soon as we receive the report, we will make the necessary negotiations with our Supervisory Board and our lawyers and inform the public about the results of the examination. As we have stated before, the purpose here is not to blame or suspect anyone, but to reveal the truth.

We brought the winners of the “Award Night” program, which we organized as part of our Don’t Leave You Campaign, with their awards. I believe it was a beneficial campaign where both our club and our fans won. But it should not be forgotten that the “Let Me Leave You” campaign is still ongoing. I would like to remind you once again that our club is open to your SMS, special day certificates and donations.

We have taken many steps in a year to get things back on track, but more is needed. If Allah gives us life, we will continue to do our duty during the term that the statute gives us. We have a promise to keep against the Beşiktaş fans. But we also need your support to stand up to the challenges.

Nobody should doubt that we will do our best after today. Good luck to our fans, good days are waiting for Beşiktaş. ”
