Turkey Football Federation (TFF) has announced the highly anticipated agreement. As it is known, the federation and the broadcaster could not reach an agreement for the current season and the clubs did not touch the ball for 1 minute with the kick-off of the matches as a protest on the grounds that they could not get their money. TFF made the expected announcement and announced that an agreement was reached with the broadcaster for the 2020-21 season.

The statement made by TFF is as follows;

“Turkey Football Federation and the Super League broadcast rights to League 1 Digiturk have been in the hands of the signed contract for the 2020-2021 season between MEDIA GROUP.

As a result of the negotiations made after the memorandum of understanding on November 17, the first installment amount agreed for the ongoing 2020-2021 season has been paid to our Federation today and the progress payments of our clubs will be deposited into their accounts as of tomorrow.

Our Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr.Digiturk, who contributed to the negotiation process with our business partner Digiturk and did not spare his support. We wish the contract signed with Digiturk, which has been transferring resources to Turkish football for many years, to be beneficial for our football and clubs, and we present it to the public.
