Russia’s Khimki Basketball Team parted ways with head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis. The Khimki Club announced that 60-year-old Kurtinaitis was dismissed due to the negative results. It was stated that Andrey Maltsev will temporarily assume the position of head coach.
Kurtinaitis, who also worked the team in 2011-2016, was appointed to Khimki for the second time in January 2019. Khimki, who played 20 games in the THY Europa League this season, took the last place with 2 wins.
