American athlete Brianna McNeal, who won the women’s 100m hurdles Olympic championship, was temporarily banned from athletics.

In a statement from the Integrity in Athletics Unit (AIU), it was noted that the 29-year-old athlete violated anti-doping protocols.

McNeal, who won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the women’s 100m hurdles, also reached the top of the podium at the 2013 World Championships held in Moscow, Russia.
