The statement made by TFF is as follows:
Following the joint public announcement of the Super League Clubs Association Foundation and the Association of 1st League Football Clubs, the statement made by the broadcaster Digiturk beIN MEDIA GROUP was carefully followed by our Federation.
We want it to be known very clearly that, even considering the amount reached in principle on the broadcasting rights price of the 2020/21 season and also in the public opinion, Digiturk beIN MEDIA GROUP has not made all the payments it has to make according to the provisions of the articles of association for the 2020/21 season . Therefore, despite the fact that no consensus has been reached yet, the broadcaster’s statement that “Digiturk has fully paid the broadcasting license fee to TFF for all the matches played in the 2020/21 season so far” does not reflect the truth.
