In the 4th match of the Champions League Group C, the French representative Marseille and the Portuguese giant Porto came face to face.
In the match played at the Velodrome Stadium, Porto won a clear victory by winning 2-0.
By the 39th minute of the game that started in a balanced way, Porto closed the first half with Sanusi’s goal. In the second half, although Marseille tried to bring equality to the score, this request was not successful. In the 67th minute, along with Marco Grujic from Porto, Balerdi from Marseille saw a red card in the 70th minute and left their team by 10. In the 72nd minute, Porto doubled the difference with Sergio Oliveira’s penalty goal.
Marseille became the first team to lose 13 consecutive matches in the history of the Champions League, and passed Anderlecht’s 12-game streak between 2003-2005.
