European Championship qualifying matches of the National Men’s Volleyball Team in Skopje

A National Men’s Volleyball Team will play all of its matches in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, in the 2021 European Championship Qualification.

The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) announced that some changes were made in the 2021 European Volleyball Championship Qualification to be held in January due to the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic.

It was stated that, upon the withdrawal of Denmark, which will host the first Group C leg matches, both tournaments will be organized in Skopje, hosted by North Macedonia on 11-16 January 2021.

European countries rank in the group stage, as determined by Turkey, will compete in Group C with Northern Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The A National Team will play all its matches in the European Championship Qualifiers at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Hall in Skopje.

Turkey’s match schedule in Group C as follows:

January 12, 2021

TS 20.00 Bosnia and Herzegovina-Turkey

13 January 2021

20:00 BST Turkey-Northern Macedonia

15 January 2021

20:00 BST Turkey-Bosnia and Herzegovina

16 January 2021

TS 20.00 Northern Macedonia-Turkey

At the end of the European Championship Qualifiers, which will be held in two separate tournaments, the teams that complete their groups in the first place and the top 5 group runners-up will be eligible to participate in the finals jointly organized by Poland, Czechia, Estonia and Finland in 2021.
